The next entry into this year’s dumbest criminal award sweepstakes is a Texas murder suspect who was so excited about his stash of weapons that he posted them on Instagram.

Christopher Gonzalez, an 18 year on Texan on the run for robbery, leading an organised crime group and murder, decided to post a photo of his firearms arsenal on a GPS tagged video.  It turns out that American law enforcement regularly patrol social media sites for such slipups and quickly found and arrested Gonzalez in a Los Angeles neighbourhood.
